Government Travel Card

Misuse of Government Funds and Government Travel Card are serious offences that can get a Soldier in a legal bind. Soldiers should be counseled on a DA 4856 Counseling Statement prior to being issued a Government travel card or a Government Purchase Card GPC. Counseling and legal actions must be started by the Commander immeditely following notification of misuse.
